Sotogrande International School

With more than 980 children from over 44 countries, SIS provides a challenging, nurturing and academically rigorous International Education. Throughout the IB programmes teachers aim to combine academic excellence with extraordinary educational experiences. Academics

As an Apple Distinguished School, the use of technology is embedded in the curriculum for all students from the age of 3, while the F1 in Schools programme and the Hyperbaric Challenge provide an exciting way for students to learn Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM) related subjects.

Music and Expressive Arts students perform at a wide range of events and are prepared for examinations with the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music, Trinity Rock School and the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA). The outstanding sporting facilities, including a covered swimming pool, sports pitches, running track and sportshall, provide many opportunities for students to compete in team and individual events.

Aspiring sports students have the opportunity to couple an outstanding education with pursuing their dreams of playing sport at the highest level with the Academic Centres for Excellence in Sport (ACES) programme. Working in conjunction with professional golf and tennis academies elite sports students are given the best possible chance of gaining university scholarships.

Academic results are consistently excellent, with both MYP and Diploma students achieving well above world average scores year after year. 2018 saw ten of our students receive an impressive 40+ points, with two achieving a perfect score IB score of 45/45.

Supported by the Universities and Careers team, students go on to study at some of the best universities in the world.
