Marymount International School London is an independent Catholic day and boarding school for girls, aged 11 to 18. Our 250 students come from over 50 different nationalities and represent all major world faiths.
Marymount’s curriculum is based on the International Baccalaureate (IB) programmes, recognised globally by universities as a benchmark of quality in education. The School was the first all girls’ school in Britain to adopt the IB Diploma programme in 1979, and with the benefit of over thirty years of experience and expertise, Marymount has a history of excellent academic results. The Diploma is offered for the last two years of High School, and students aged 11-16 follow the IB Middle Years Programme, an innovative pre-IB curriculum, which prepares students for the discipline and format of the full Diploma. Our graduates gain places at prestigious universities in the UK and abroad.
Located on a private estate, just 12 miles from central London, Marymount offers modern facilities in a secure suburban setting. Class sizes are small and study programmes are planned to meet the needs of individual students.
The school aims to provide a stimulating and secure environment in which the academic, social and personal needs of each individual student may be met. Education is seen as a continuous process of growth in awareness and development towards maturity.
Part of the Religious of the Sacred Heart of Mary (RSHM) network of schools worldwide, Marymount International School London empowers its young women to become active members of a world community and the global leaders of tomorrow.
Prospective students and parents are welcome to visit for a personal tour and to meet students and staff to learn more about what makes Marymount special.
