Introducing the Lycée International de Londres Winston Churchill.
Thursday 25 March at 11am GMT
Hear from experienced, international educator, Head of School, Mireille Rabaté and Maaike Kaandorp, International Programmes Coordinator (EIP / IBDP) how their school,Lycée International de Londres Winston Churchill, delivers a bilingual education in French and English from Early Years to Y13, which offers a head start for life and a love for learning. They will explain what they mean by “the paths we choose” and the difference between, their twin-track programmes, the French National Curriculum and the English track (offering 4 IGCSEs at Y11) preparing for the IB Diploma. Both paths open opportunities for their students at leading UK (Russell Group) and French (classes préparatoires/) ) Universities as well as Global Universities in Canada, US, Netherlands, Norway, Germany, Italy and Spain after their French Baccalauréat or International Baccalaureate Diploma. The school was proudly established in 2015 as an International School for the 21st Century and lives up to its reputation with an enlightened use of technology to facilitate different styles of learning, collaboration and self-guided study. Having already established online learning to support individual international students and in response to London’s transport strike, they transitioned to virtual classrooms with speed and ease in response to the pandemic lockdowns which was hugely appreciated by the parents. Discover how this experience has accelerated their schooling at home programme, LIL Online, an option now available to international families around the world.
