Festival of Global People: the videos

The Festival of Global People, held at the St Pancras Renaissance Hotel in London on 14-15 May, 2019 brought together the cream of the relocation industry for two days of fascinating keynote speeches, insightful round-table discussions and informative and entertaining workshops including sessions on: nurturing talent and leadership, encouraging employee trust and engagement, exploring peer-to-peer support and how art can liberate thinking in large organisations. The event culminated in the glittering gala awards dinner, where the winners of the Relocate Awards gathered to celebrate another successful year across the global mobility sector. Dr Holbeche is an established author, consultant, coach and developer, and an authority on change and agility in organisations. She was previously Director of Research and Policy for the CIPD, Director of Leadership and Consultancy at the Work Foundation and Director of Research and Strategy at Roffey Park. She is author of over 50 research reports and more than 100 articles.

Dr Sue Shortland is Professor Emerita at Guildhall Business & Law at London Metropolitan University and a Senior Lecturer in HRM at the University of Westminster. She is a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development (CIPD). She holds masters’ degrees in Geography and Higher Education from Cambridge and Westminster Universities respectively.

Paul Williamson heads up learning and development at The Ambassadors Theatre Group (ATG), a global live entertainment business. ATG owns and operates close to 50 venues worldwide, is an internationally recognised and award-winning producer, and operates a market leading theatre ticketing business. He has worked in the theatre industry for over 20 years, enjoying leadership roles in sales and ticketing prior to moving into Human Resources, and is a chartered member of the CIPD, an AoEC qualified executive coach and a Hogan personality assessor.
