Mel Curtis has been the Head of School at ISN Nice since November 2020. With over two decades of educational leadership, she brings a wealth of international experience, having held leadership roles in the UK, Dubai, Switzerland, the USA, and across Europe. Prior to joining ISN, Mel was the Executive Principal of the first 'Outstanding' IB World School in the Middle East and later served as Chief Academic Officer for Europe. She also led the British International School of Chicago, pioneering STEAM education in the region.Her leadership style is rooted in strategic innovation, a commitment to academic excellence, and an entrepreneurial approach to education. Mel’s experience spans multiple curricula, where she has consistently raised attainment levels and driven successful school improvement initiatives. Having lived in the Var for over a decade, she is passionate about continuing ISN’s mission to nurture holistic growth and prepare students for future success.
