As global mobility evolves to meet the demands of the post-pandemic world, access to relevant and timely insights into trends shaping the sector has never been more critical for global mobility practitioners, international managers and strategic decision makers. The winner of this award, Santa Fe Relocation, has a well-earned reputation for keeping its finger on the pulse of what’s new in global mobility. The relocation management company’s Thought Leadership team’s freely shared research reports, webinars and white papers make real impact. They are the go-to resource for organisations operating around the world as its testimonials show.Santa Fe Relocation’s resources help educate leaders, inform client conversations, promote leading-edge practices and drive innovation to the betterment of everyone working in the sector and those on assignment.

Connecting global mobility to the strategic agenda

This year’s Santa Fe Relocation Global Mobility Survey 2020/21, ‘Repurpose: Challenging Change’, is no exception. Conducted during the pandemic and capturing the views of over 800 global mobility professionals and 55 business leaders in 12 sectors, it gives impressively up-to-date information on the how global mobility continues to add value to an organisation, how talent will be deployed internationally and how organisations are managing risk and duty of care issues. The survey also connects directly to strategic challenges common to all organisations, shining a light on global mobility’s role in resolving them with both qualitative and quantitative insights. It captures valuable data and provides invaluable context for professionals making decisions about their global mobility and talent practices. The survey itself also offers practical examples of how organisations are already adapting and how the employee experience could be improved.“This survey is excellent,” commented the judges. “There is no doubt that this survey contributes considerably to research and practice. It is commendable that the survey findings are available more widely than just the client database. This is excellent for sharing understanding and practice and taking our knowledge forward as we work our way through the pandemic.”

A team effort

Accepting the award, Peter Graham, Group Director, Visa & Immigration Services, Santa Fe Relocation, offered his thanks to colleagues John Rason, Julia Palmer, Kevin O’Connor and Dinesh Jangra from Crowe for making the survey happen and such a success, as well as to all those who offered their views for the report. “I’m very honoured to be able to pick this award up on their behalf,” he said.Despite the pandemic and the challenges over the last year or so, “overseas assignments will still be important to companies,” Peter Graham continued, emphasising the critical role both of research and global mobility. “It’s how companies grow and develop their talent. How they become properly integrated locally. All of those things aren’t going to change and it means that global mobility still has a really important role going forward.”See winners page here.www.santaferelo.com
