The Management Shift for Innovation and Agility Workshop
In an interview at the Festival, Professor Hlupic explained the Management Shift for Innovation and Agility.
In an interview at the Festival, Professor Hlupic explained the Management Shift for Innovation and Agility workshop was about how we can use the management shift approach to help organisations to become not only more innovative and more agile but also to become more engaging, more purposeful, high performing and profitable as a result of that.
She explains, “The Management Shift is the method I developed on the basis of many years of interdisciplinary research. I pulled together many disciplines and created a set of theories, models and practical tools that leaders and organisations can use and have been using, for about 12 years or so globally, to shift to a high level of thinking, performing and to high-level profit.
“The essence is, we need to make organisations more people focused, more purposeful, more collaborative, more human and that is the only way moving forward now for organisations to not just survive, but also thrive. It’s moving away from always working, thinking and leading based on command and control hierarchy. It is all about focusing on people and doing meaningful, purposeful work that not just brings profitable companies and serves customers, but it’s also about making this world a better place.”
