London hospitality brand expands into Continental Europe
Luxury serviced apartments company Cheval Collection launches its first Cheval Maison in Germany.
Central location
Based in Frankfurt’s Sachsenhausen neighbourhood, Cheval Maison will be directly opposite the Villa Kennedy hotel. The prominent location at the corner of Kennedy Allee and Stresemann Allee is less than 15 minutes from the city centre and international airport, and a stone’s throw from a variety of restaurants, cafés and shops.Designed by Berlin-based Eike Becker Architects, the new-build property will consist of 181 apartments ranging in size from 30sqm2 to 106sqm2, over 11 floors. The apartments will be configured primarily as studios, one- and two-bedroom units, some with panoramic views towards the river Main and Frankfurt city centre from the upper floors. Each apartment will boast a contemporary design that reflects an authentic local experience. The ground floor and first floor lobbies will offer collaborative workspaces, a café and a grab-and-go style shop with essentials for guests’ stays. There will also be a first-floor fitness studio and office space, two levels of underground parking and a spectacular roof garden on the 12th floor.Flagship development
George Westwell, CEO of Cheval Collection, says, “We are delighted to announce plans to open Cheval Maison, Frankfurt in 2022. This will be a flagship development for us; our second property outside of London and a milestone in our company ambition to become the pre-eminent leader in luxury serviced apartment accommodation worldwide for any length of stay.“We are excited to confirm this is our first management contract as part of that expansion plan and we are honoured to be working with SIC Properties. We look forward to bringing our more than 35 years of quality accommodation expertise to our exciting new concept and location at Cheval Maison Frankfurt.”For more articles and news, see our Serviced Apartments section.
