Following our highly successful and impactful International Women’s Day (IWD) event last year, we highlighted this year’s theme of ‘Inspire Inclusion’ to champion inclusion in all its forms. We explored the value of international experience and how to share knowledge and expertise to deliver greater equity for women and girls and help to grow sustainable jobs and opportunities around the world.
Our event this year on 8 March supported personal and professional development provided practical tools to accelerate change in organisations or communities.
Inspired by the publication of ‘Men Stepping Forward’, we encouraged men to join us to explore how to create an environment at work to achieve gender-inclusive leadership opportunities.
Attendees took away a wealth of connections, new ideas and practical solutions to put into practice in their own workplace.

Amira Kohler is a CIPD Fellow and is a highly experienced performance management and change management leader with 30 years’ organisational and consulting experience.
Attendees exchanged insights and heard cutting-edge examples of how international organisations are supporting all employees, in particular women, to flourish in the fast-changing global workplace. Delegates rotated around the tables and exchanged views with experts from a range of industry sectors and disciplines throughout the morning.
Attendees met inspiring women who are making a difference at the morning workshop. There was plenty of opportunity to network over drinks a delicious lunch with our guests, experts, clients and colleagues. It was a lively, informative occasion to swop ideas and experiences and make valuable connections.
Attendees met some of the women profiled in the last year and discovered their journey and how they have made a real impact on business and their professions often with surprising twists and turns along the way.
