UK-based destination services provider Clearview Relocation was the proud winner of two categories of the 2017 Relocate Awards. Find out why the judges considered it the DSP of the Year.
This award, which celebrates quality and professionalism, once again attracted some powerful entries.
Berkshire-based
Clearview Relocation’s stood out. Said the judges, “Clearview employs a nurturing management style alongside innovative technology to meld together people and technical solutions that really work.
“This company brings out the very best in its staff, resulting in exceptional client service. Feedback from clients demonstrates long-standing, highly successful relationships.
“Alongside the ability to respond quickly to change, an integrated approach with other service providers is evident, which is very much appreciated by individuals and families on the move, and by the firms responsible for relocating them.”
Successful service delivery
Clearview’s entry gave strong examples of working creatively to meet clients’ needs. When a Japanese multinational formed a new subsidiary, engineers were seconded to the UK and accommodated in hotels for both short and longer periods. This was neither ideal for employees nor the most cost-effective solution.
The client’s deputy director of corporate purchasing and facilities takes up the story. “Clearview secured an initial five apartments within a single residential building for use by our Japanese employees on a rotational basis.
“This arrangement has proved ideal. Their relocation consultant has exceptional working knowledge of the Japanese culture and language, which adds immense value for our employees.”
Low staff turnover and stable leadership are obvious factors in Clearview’s award-winning service. Says director Simon Bell, “Our staff stay for nearly nine years on average. Our main management team has not changed since George Holmes and I founded the company in 2000, and both of us are as involved in service delivery now as we were then.”
Attention to detail
The nurturing management style highlighted by the judges extends to Clearview’s network of independent UK and international home-search consultants.
“All staff, whether in-house or remote, work cohesively and proactively,” says Simon Bell. “We have a sister removals management company, which positively impacts on both time and budgets for clients.”
As the judges noted, judicious use of technology is an important part of Clearview’s service. The company has developed an interactive app that enables assignees to, for instance, access their property-viewing itinerary, view property details, photos and floorplans, check locations in the mapping function, and post in real time with their families.
Summing up, the judges described Clearview as “a real winner – a highly proactive company that pays attention to the smallest detail, resulting in excellent customer satisfaction”.
Following this year's innovation-themed gala dinner, the Relocate team is already hard at work to ensure we build on the success of the Relocate Awards 2017 and make next year’s even bigger and better.
