Data-driven decision-making offers huge potential for international managers, global mobility expertise and CFOs as they balance talent deployment with compliance and cost-effectiveness. East Sussex-based international destination service provider Icon Relocation understands this. It provides best-in-class rental data analytics delivered by a highly trained and supported team under the leadership of CEO, Simon Johnston.
Icon Relocation came out top of “an exceptional field of entries” in this award category, which celebrates quality service provision and professionalism. Its dedicated 32-strong team ensures excellence in bespoke services for individuals and families in a way that enhances the assignment experience for both the assignee and their employer.
With 20 years’ experience delivering multi-award-winning services to thousands of highly skilled and talented people from around the world, Icon Relocation has innovated a sector-leading approach to all DSP aspects of the relocation lifecycle, from home search to removals.
This starts with having a team of professional and talented employees who are supported in their ongoing development with training around the latest compliance aspects of international moves, accreditation and affiliation to key industry bodies, and ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certification. Annual client surveys underpin Icon Relocation’s approach to maintaining the high quality of its services and responsiveness to their needs.
Employee wellbeing at Icon Relocation is central to its success. So the company can best support its clients, there is a dedicated wellbeing committee, private healthcare and mental health days so everyone can feel and perform at their optimum.
Icon Relocation also regards its relationships with suppliers as fundamental to its ability to provide bespoke services and world-leading data analytics. Visiting lettings agents and gathering market data are how the company can offer the most accurate information on which to base decisions, as well as enable assignees to view properties in a tight rental market first and often ahead of official listings.
The award was collected by Simon Johnston, CEO of Icon Relocation.
Icon Relocation’s network includes immigration, taxation, compensation and benefits expertise to ensure compliance, cost-effectiveness and assignment success. Client portals efficiently deliver reporting in customers’ preferred formats or applications, further underlining the company’s client focus.
Introducing this award, host Jayne Constantinis remarked how this was a “hotly contested category, causing much deliberation between the judges and a close-run decision”, before handing over to Jessica Sharpe of award sponsor, the accommodation platform 3Sixty, to present the award.
Explaining why Icon Relocation prevailed, head judge Dr Sue Shortland said: “This firm clearly demonstrates the value of using technology and bespoke approaches to deal with individuals to provide responsive and cost-effective solutions. It is great to see the combination of data and personal expertise to ensure excellent quality for individuals seeking destination services. This firm clearly demonstrates excellence and a strong focus on wellbeing alongside the data-driven service with the personal touch.”
Simon Johnston, Icon Relocation’s CEO and director, collected the award, saying, “Thank you so much! I also have to say a huge thank you to the team. The last year or so has been very difficult for every relocation company and the housing market and the difficulties elsewhere. Despite this, the team has been absolutely amazing. Just a huge, huge thank you.”
